Privacy policy
Effective October 18, 2026. This policy covers Score Up Arcade in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, and the website at this address.
Who we are
Score Up Arcade runs an arcade floor and party rooms in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles. The street address will be posted on the visit page before opening day. Questions about this policy go to bookings@rockcityarcade.com.
Information you give us
When you book a birthday party we store the name, email, phone number, guest count, package, party date, start time, and any note you type. We also store the booking record, whether the $199 security deposit was paid, and a code we can use to find the booking.
Visit questions and private-event requests open your own email app. The message is sent to bookings@rockcityarcade.com. We keep that email so we can answer and, if you book, so we can hold the date.
Do not put a card number in a note or an email. Card details for the deposit are entered on the payment page run by our payment processor, not in our forms.
Payment
The $199 security deposit is separate from the per-guest party price. When checkout is open, Stripe processes that card payment. Stripe receives the name, email, amount, and card details needed to charge the deposit. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes on our site.
A party time is booked only after that deposit payment succeeds. If checkout is unavailable, sending the form does not create a paid booking.
Information collected automatically
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most sites, the host may log the IP address, browser type, and the pages requested so the site can run and so we can block abuse. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell personal information.
On a phone or tablet the site can be saved to the home screen. That copy stores pages, the stylesheet, and the script on the device so the app can open again. It is a cache, not a profile of you. Sounds stay off on phones and tablets.
How we use it
- To hold a party time, take the deposit, and refund it after the party when the room and equipment are in order.
- To answer a visit question or an event request.
- To send booking details to the email address you gave us.
- To stop repeated or fake booking attempts from the same email.
- To keep a record if there is a dispute about a party or a deposit.
Who we share it with
We share booking details with the people who run the floor and the party calendar. We share payment details with Stripe when you pay the deposit. We share what a host needs to operate the site with Cloudflare. We share information if the law requires it, or to protect guests and the floor from harm.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep a booking while it is upcoming and for as long as we need it afterward to refund the deposit, answer a question about that party, or meet a legal record. You can ask us to delete a booking record after the party and the deposit are finished. We may keep a short record of the request itself.
Children
Parties are for guests, including children, but the website forms are for the adult who books. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. If you believe a child sent us their own information, email bookings@rockcityarcade.com and we will delete it.
California privacy
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. You can email bookings@rockcityarcade.com to ask what we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will not discriminate against you for asking. We may need to confirm the request is yours before we act.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new date will show at the top of this page. The version on the site is the one that applies.
